Maiden's Tower Sunset Walk | Istanbul Bosphorus | Üsküdar Walking Tour
Our walk begins in Üsküdar Square, passing through historic mosques and fountains that have survived from the Ottoman era to the present day before reaching the Bosphorus waterfront.
We walk along the Bosphorus toward Salacak Coast, where Maiden’s Tower is located, enjoying the beautiful sunset views along the way. Throughout the walk, the Istanbul skyline across the Bosphorus, with views of Beyoğlu and Beşiktaş, accompanies us.
When we reach Maiden’s Tower, the final light of the sunset reveals the silhouette of the Historic Peninsula across the Bosphorus, with Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, and Topkapı Palace; on the hills of Beyoğlu, we can also see the silhouette of Galata Tower. We end the video with this beautiful sunset view, where Istanbul’s historic character meets the colors of the evening.
