In this video from the Budapest series, we step inside St. Stephen's Basilica (Szent István Bazilika), one of the city's most impressive landmarks. The walk begins in the wide square in front of the basilica and moves inward. Inside, a live organ concert resonating through the historic acoustics of the space turns the visual and auditory experience into a unique whole. Today, the basilica continues to be one of Budapest's living structures through events like these.

Built in the 19th century and named after Hungary's first king, Stephen I (I. István), this magnificent building is one of the most important elements of Budapest’s skyline with its architecture, scale, and spirit.

As always, there's no narration or guidance. Just footsteps, ambient sounds and flow. For the best experience, I recommend watching with headphones.

Join the flow and walk with me through the streets of Budapest.
