We are at Buda Castle, one of the most impressive spots in Budapest. Overlooking the Danube River and the Hungarian Parliament Building, this historic hill brings together the city's past and its magnificent views.
The Buda Castle district is home to important landmarks such as Matthias Church (Mátyás-templom), known for its colorful roof tiles and Gothic architecture; Fisherman's Bastion (Halászbástya), with its fairytale like towers and terraces offering one of the best views of the Parliament across the river; as well as the Hungarian National Gallery (Magyar Nemzeti Galéria) and the Budapest History Museum (Budapesti Történeti Múzeum). The walk will take you past these historic landmarks and stunning city views.
As always, there's no narration or guidance. Just footsteps, ambient sounds and flow. For the best experience, I recommend watching with headphones.
Join the flow and walk with me through the streets of Budapest.
