Let's explore Vienna's inspiring architecture and the rhythm of city life together. In this video, we take a walk through Vienna’s historic streets on a Sunday afternoon.
Our walk begins in Freyung, one of the city’s oldest areas. From there, we visit the courtyard of Palais Daun-Kinsky, a Baroque masterpiece by architect Johann Lukas von Hildebrandt. We then step into the calm interior of Schottenkirche (Scots Church), whose history dates back to the 12th century.
Continuing our walk along Teinfaltstraße, we reach the impressive façade of the Burgtheater, one of Europe’s most prestigious stages. Crossing the square directly opposite the theater, Rathausplatz, we enter the adjacent Rathauspark. At the park’s far exit, we are greeted by the Austrian Parliament Building, with its grand columns inspired by ancient Greek architecture. We conclude our walk in front of the Parliament, taking in its striking presence.
Join the flow, and walk with me through the streets of Vienna.
